jenlap
Today I came home and, for the first time since I've had her, I caught her attacking the crap out of her toys! She was yelling at then and ripping them a new one, I found it so amusing! Well she must have a wild hair right now, cause she is being very standoffish. She keeps running from me and doesn't want to step up. What is the best plan of action for this behavior??
Luvparrots
Sit down/stand near the cage/or wherever she is, and play with a toy and have fun or nibble/eat something you know she likes and see if she will come over to you on her own.
Ray P
There will come a time when if they see you have something they want it. If its food or toys you have they think it belongs to them.
danmcq
The best plan of action is to sit back, pop open a cool brew and enjoy the show. Your baby is coming along nicely and starting to practive the Grey-Foo techniques of battle...enjoy!!!
chezron
How old is she? She may be discovering that she has choices now. Don't worry, just be clever. Meaning that, make the choice you want her to make something she "chooses."
JeffNOK
When my CAG is playing with a toy, I give her space. She doesn't want to be bothered. Is your fid standoffish generally or just when playing?
Acappella
She's like a little kid. She's all wound up in play mode and doesn't want to stop for a cuddle. Let her wind down and wait for her to signal you that she'd like some one-on-one time.
