Today my partner in crime brought in a bowl of fresh snow. Jake touched it with his beak, growled at it and is now busy giving it the evil stink eye. I thought he might like snow because he loves destroying ice cubes.

I think I finally have the naming thing down. For now Jake calls me "bless you", my partner in crime is "whats goin' ", my partner in crimes DD is "hellooooo" and the cat is the nasty meow.

Jake has me crying with laughter. He is on his boing chattering away in a sing song way and I hear "go poopies......poopie, poopie, poops" "lets go.... poopie, poopie poops". He said it a few times and then he started to laugh. When I started to laugh he said "what?" which only got me to laughing harder. He is such a nut.

Very true and probably why he has fit so well. I love kids in the 9 months to 3 year range.

For the first time ever Jake went into his cage and climbed onto his sleeping perch to take a nap. I don't know whether to be thrilled or worried that something is wrong.

So much easier if you didn't always have to factor that in. But just hope it's progress & Yay!!

He spent about and hour and 45 minutes on his sleeping perch. Some of the time he was talking quietly, some of the time he had his eyes closed and some of the time he had his beak tucked back. He is out now, is acting fine and his poop is normal.
