I just heard from the bird shop... The babies are supposed to arrive from the breeder in the next day or so... including mine! I can't wait... i'm sooo excited... this is great news on an otherwise gloomey day (friend passed away this am from cancer)....

Wooooohooooo is right, now the wait begins for your baby to wean but at least this is one step closer to the day you have your new arrival.

On another note so sorry about your friend, seems all of us know someone who either has it or has passed away from it, wish a cure could be found.

Thanks. The bird shop just called. Barring any weather issues my bird should arrive on fri. Woot!!!! She will confirm on Thursday. Depending on what time the flight comes in I may be able to see my baby fri night. Oh I can't wait!!!!!!

There will definitely be pics. Hopefully timing works out and I can see the baby fri night. With the funeral sat not sure if I'll be able to get there while they are open. Hopefully I won't have to wait till Monday. But I'm off all next week so guess where I will be hanging out?!

Sorry about your sad news and loss. This little chick coming into your life now will have even more of a special meaning to you. It is going to be a wonderful journey of discovery when you finally get to meet your little one and watch it grow. It seems like such a long wait from the time you meet the little one until you get to bring it home. The nice thing is you will have plenty of time to prepare your home to greet the day with a happy little parrot wrapping your heart around a little grey talon. Congratulations on your baby getting closer to home.

thanks... I should get confirmation today that everything is on track for tomorrows arrival... I can't wait... Next week while on vaca i'm going to clean and organize the house and try to bird proof it... and hopefully get into a cleaning routine to keep after everything...

Well due to a death in the breeders family my baby didn't ship today but it should on Monday. Yeah. They sent a pic of the CAG baby's they are shipping up. They are so cute. They look about 5 weeks but I could be wrong. Lol.

 

 

I so can't wait to meet the babies and find out which will eventually join my flock.
