Temperature?

Please tell me is there a temperature range for my new baby? I am asking because downstairs is colder/cooler than upstairs. If I turn the heat up we all melt upstairs and if I turn the a.c. Down we all melt. The cage is downstairs and I want to make sure I have the temperature right for my CAG. If I need to get a sleep cage for upstairs what is the smallest size I can get. I can't afford another large cage right now. Plus I don't have any where to put another large cage. Also if I have to get a small cage she would have to sleep in my room.

Hi, I like to keep the young ones around 80 degrees with no drafts, after their a year old or so, we keep our house temp in the mid 70's year round. Others will give you their favorite temps...Thanks Jay

I think that whatever temperature you are comfortable with they are too.

Ive been keeping the house between 72-75 .....and Marco is 4mo old .... they told me not to go below 68degrees that .. that would be too cold. hope that helps

I keep ours at 74-75. Vet said for our nudist guy not to go below 65.

My house is 68 in the winter days, but down to 62 at night. My birds have never had a problem. Their cages are overed at night though.

Ok that help a lot. I know downstairs is 65-70 at night and I am covering Whitney's cage too. That is if I can stop staring at her,lol. I so excited about having her home I can't seem to think straight. But I am glad to know she will be ok downstairs where it is cooler. Thank you all.
