lovemyGreys
fils, I'm sorry for your loss, this is such a sad story & I'm positive you was sold an unweaned baby. The pet shop has a lot to answer to, Negligence & incompetence as Dan rightly says. You did all you could have done & if it wasnt you the bird would have been sold to someone else to suffer the trauma you have. Please stick around
BMustee
You don't have to have a grey to post here...there are a lot of people that don't have birds that just add to topics with questions they may have. There is also our Off-topic forums and Game Room that have nothing to do with birds...you should check them out. I hope to keep seeing you posting on the site...and be sure to keep use all up-to-date on the pet store.
Guest briansmum
oh i am so sad to hear your news, LMG is right deffinately sounds like a tiny baby that wasn't weaned. I urge you not to accept and more animals from this shop and follow through with your complaints. if the shop are bribing you then they know they have done something wrong so do not accept any bribes or your claims will be void. i cannot begin to imagine how you are feeling and i hope you don't give up on birds forever. please do not leave our forum. you are more than welcome to stay and contribute and i hope one we can help you welcome a new baby into your life. my thoughts are with you
fils
hey guys... u ppl are nice i mean ..now days who acctully cares abt all this but i am really touched. i donno i have contactged a breeder over here. he does not have any birds to give rite now but he assures me he will soon have .but then again its going to be a baby.i donno. there are cockatoos available but i dont know a lot abt them and am looking in to them also. i have not taken any bribe wat so ever from any one.getting a bird in this part of the world is not very easy.its infact hard than 1 can expect. plus expensive. i came across this amazon parrot today and guess how much was it for.it was for QR12000...thats around 3300 USD. so its just not very easy.but ill stick around. have learnt a lot after all the research i have done. i acctully train birds here for others. i have experience with african greys the most, amazons, cockatiels, budgies, love birds. . i tried having cockatiels but had to give them away as i had to go for higher studies to my country. but i think ill stick to training birds..i don think i am dat capable to have a bird.
