Echos_Peeps
Ok...here we go... Echoe was clipped when we got her, in June of 2011. I am sure her flight feathers are growing and i realize it may take another year before she has them back completely. I do not want to clip her again, but our house is small. lots of windows, a cat, many turns, etc. I think she can handle it, but does anyone have any thoughts about the safety of that decision? Talon
She will be fine. They learn the constraints of the environment very quickly, and you will see how happy flying makes her! You'd be surprised at the incredible way they maneuver thru small places with such grace once they master their new mode of transportation! Good for you for allowing her to use wings as nature intended !!
judygram
Penny is right, they learn to navigate even small areas and she will be much happier if she can be allowed to fly for after all that is why they have wings.
Luvparrots
I live in a small house and have three parrots, all flighted. They have no problem turning corners and getting from here to there with ease. Kudos to you for allowing Echo to fly!
