snoepgoed123
I feed Archimedes first thing in the morning, leave food in the cage for 2 hours then remove, then feed again an hour later and just repeat through the day, that way his food stays fresh all day long (I also leave dry pellets in his cage, but he likes his pellets mashed so I can't leave those in his cage as long as I wish) I also alternate between mushy pellets and mushy pellets with fresh veg. also I see you're feeding seed, it's better to switch to a pellet formula, seed has been linked to fatty tumors... there are topics on here that can help you decide which pellet is best, I know a lot of people like TOPS pellet, Harrisons, roudy bush, and lafaber also post in the intro room!!! We would love to find out more about you and your TAG (and we love TAG pics)
judygram
There is no set mealtimes for greys for they are foragers which means they eat all throughout the day, they may eat more at one time first thing in the morning then they snack from time to time during the day. You want to have food available for them at all times so when they want something it is there for them. Pellets can be left in the bowl all day along with a few seeds and nuts but fresh foods should be removed after a couple of hours for they will turn sour and spoil. kins2321@yahoo.com
Breakfast, for my guys, is very important. They get a bowlful full of seeds( very little), pellets, toast and fresh fruits and veggies. I remove the bowl of fresh fruits and veggies when I get home. There pellet mix, is out 24/7.
