carlsjr
hi all. i borrowed the FLIR (forward looking infrared) camera from work and took a few pics of Luna. the temperature in upper left is displaying what the circle in the middle is focused on. its interesting the difference in temp from the eye, to the skin around the eye and the cheek which has feathers. a parrots normal body temp is 105 degrees. a lot of people dont know this. disregard the date in the upper right, its wrong and too lazy to change it on the camera. anyway i thought i would share. katana600
That is captivating, I don't know what gave you the idea to do this, but I am glad you did. I was going to say "way cool" until I realized 103 degrees isn't. LOL. It is just an awesome image and we can learn some interesting things from you. Thanks.
