sweetriley
[b:cf07598dbe][/color:cf07598dbe] I have a African Grey Parrot his name is Riley. He is about 2 years old. My boyfriend got him when he was a baby. He hand fed him. Such a precious time. Riley was always talking and making different sounds everyday. About 6 months ago, Riley's mood changed. He wouldnt let us hold him, touch him and get near him. He would always screem. My boyfriend had moved into another room. Do you think that was the problem? Different scenery? So my boyfriend asked me to take Riley home, so I did. There are some days Riley is good. And other's hes not. I dont know what to do...........I need HELP. I am not giving up on him. I just want to be able to hold and play with Riley again. [/b:cf07598dbe]
Guest
Can't he take Riley with him to his room? This change could definately have an impact on him, as he might have seen your boyfriend as his mate.
Dee Dee Warren
Annie my grey gets in moods. She is very tempermental and stubborn, would rather die than give in. I just give her her space when she is like that and let her sit on my knee but don't try to pet her if she has indicated it isn't welcome.
