Miss Chickie's bath time

I got some pics of little Miss Chickie the other day after her bath, and I just had to share them. I give her a bath every other day, so she's getting pretty good about it. I put her in the kitchen sink and spray her down until she's soaking wet and then wrap her in a towel to help her dry. I'm hoping that wrapping her in a towel after the bath will make it less traumatic when she has to be toweled at the vet, etc. Also, it serves a very selfish purpose because she is super sweet and cuddly after a bath, so I get lots of quality time in while I can. She will usually put up with it for about 5 min, and then she's ready to move on...lol. She will be 6 months old on the 17th and it feels like only yesterday I brought her home. The last one is definitely my favorite.

Thanks guys! I wouldn't say that she loves it yet...it's probably more she tolerates it cause mommy says she has to do it...lol. Hopefully the more we do it the better she will get about it.

Great pix of Chickie. Gracie loves her spray baths. She doesn't do sweet and cuddly, but she sure looks cute all wet and bedraggled.

Thanks guys! I just got her shower perch in, so I've started showering her in the "big kid" (lol) shower with us. So far it's working out ok and she doesn't seem to mind it too much. She gets a little mad at mom sometimes during baths, but I tell her that we all have to bathe...lol

She is so adorable wrapped up in that towel, my grey does not like to take baths either but its something we all have to do from time to time whether we need it or not! Thanks for sharing the pics with us.

She is so cute wrapped in the towel, like a baby!! My Grey takes bath in the shower on her sand perch too! she doesnt like it but lets me have my way because she adores being wet & flying around like crazy jet!
