If your bird is basically healthy, vitamins of any type shouldn't be given without a vet's ok and he'll be the one who tells you what kind and how to give it and he'll give you the reason why the bird needs the vitamins. Normally, greys and other parrots get their natural vitamins from the various foods they eat.

Ok The vet said to give her cuttle bone but she doesnt want it.

Lots of greys don't like cuttlebone. You can try mineral blocks but I doubt that he'll like that either. Both items are basically calcium blocks. One is colored and the other isn't. If you're really interested in giving your bird a great vitamin, you should try Red Palm Oil. It has the 2 most important vitamins they need. VIT A -- VIT E It's also the natural food they eat in the wild.

On your browser type in

SWANSONS VITAMINS

type in RED PALM OIL on their page

It'll pop up.

It's a highly recommended product.

Dave is quite knowledgeable and has excellent advice. I would trust him, if I was a new parent. I don't do vitamin supplements, but we have an established diet at this stage in our life. But... if I were a new parent, I would be just as concerned as you are. Just means...you are going to be great! Nancy
