Luvparrots
I give my parrots unsalted pistachio nuts for treats. Low in fat and they love them.
Guest danielsingh
Hi, @judygram, @luvparrots thanks for the reply. What are Cherrios? and is there any other alternative to unsalted pistachio nuts, these are extremely expensive here in India.
judygram
What are Cherrios? They are a dry cereal that doesn't have a lot of sugar in them, I see you are from India and you might not have them in your grocery stores.
Luvparrots
Unsalted pistachios are expensive here also, that's why they are a treats My parrots also like fresh snap peas in the shell to nibble on as a treat.
Guest danielsingh
i have heard about dry banana, peanuts, sun flower seeds and grapes. But personally grapes have lots of fertilizers on them even after washing, so a strict no. Not sure about others and how to make dry banana? Thanks for the reply judygram & luvparrots.
