Foraging tree ideas

My baby Grey isn't coming home for a while, but I am already in full prep. mode.

 

I am having a young carpenter in my youth group make a foraging tree for me that will be made out of safe, natural wood. I am so excited to see it.

 

Do any of you have foraging trees? What kinds of features do they have? What foraging toys do your birds like best?

I definitely will post a picture. I am so excited to see it. She (the young carpenter) said she found the perfect limb to use as the main piece, with two main branches coming off of it. She is making it look as natural as possible.

 

Again, what foraging toys do your Greys enjoy most?

I do not have a foraging tree. But I do often wrap treats in a coffee filter & let Klaus work to get them out. He is sooooo interested in coffee filters now.

HI I just got rid of my tree. Ying Mo didn't seem to like it and would rather sit on the top of his cage nearer to me. I wish I had someone close by to give it to as it is a really nice old apple tree with lots of room for dangling stuff on. Oh well, I might try to introduce it to him again later once he gets bord with what he has to play with at the moment...
