Home wanted African Grey Dubai

Hi, my African Grey Max disappeared over a week ago during a sandstorm here in Dubai. I have tried almost everything to try find him. I wrote a letter to the newspaper and someone contacted me to say they had found my bird but sadly it wasn't Max - but someone else is missing their lovely parrot. I have contacted all the vets but it appears I am the only person looking for a missing African Grey!

 

I took the parrot as I knew that I can look after him temporarily. Unfortunately I'm still hopeful my own bird will come back to me somehow so am not in a position to permanently offer this bird a home. I really do need to know he's going to a Grey lover - hence my joining this forum to see if any of the UAE Grey owners can offer this lovely bird a forever home. He's ringed, healthy and already quite a little character though still shy. Seems to be fond of the ladies! Nad Al Sheba Vet reckon he's probably about 2 years old.

How sad he is missing and I hope you get him back but in the meantime you are caring for someone else's grey so out there is another person looking for their bird, I hope both birds find their rightful owners soon.
