Koekie
hello! I measured my timneh and he was 26 cm. Do you say cm? I read on a Dutch site that a timneh is 30-35cm. Maybe Koekie is a girl? Or he growed bad because I think he was handraised. He hasn't curved bones (or bent bones I don't now:confused:), and I give extra calcium. What do you guys think? Did you ever measured you parrot? Talon
He is beautiful. A tag is much smaller. I have never measured my birds, I only way them, but they are all different sizes. He looks very happy and healthy!
Greywings
One of our Greys a TAG is very tiny half the size of our CAG's I also volunteer at a Sanctuary where we have several Greys of both varieties and none are as small as Smartee Pants. Barbara2
My TAG is very small. I haven't measured him but he weighs less than 300 grams.
Luvparrots
My Ana Grey is now 3 1/2 years old. She weighs in at 305g. My CAG, Sterling Gris, 10 months old, weighs in at 505g. I have never measured their length. My greys are fully flighted and fly all day long throughout the house. Your grey looks very healthy, Bianca. DawL
I agree, he looks very healthy, and very happy. Some Grey's are just on the small side, and I consider any info given online to be just a general guideline on height and weight. Coming in slightly under or over this guideline is perfectly okay. Ray P
Your tag looks great. My CAG Corky is on the small side for a CAG at 405 g and she is eleven years old. And she is a snot.
kins2321@yahoo.com
Sophie is not all that huge for a CAG. She was DNA tested and sexed. I have to be honest, I never weigh her. She eats like a pig and looks great. I guess we think of her as a " big Cag", because she rules our animal kingdom. Three birds and two dogs. When she tells dogs to go out and pee, they run for the door. When she tells dogs to " share", they leave her a piece of chicken. In return... Ollie loves peanuts. She will say, " Ollie want a peanut?" He runs, she throws him one. Nancy
