albiesmum Posted October 25, 2006 Share Posted October 25, 2006 hi my name is Liz and i live in Australia a few weeks ago i got an african grey(congo)and he bites me!he wont step up but will be scatched and bite when hes had enough,he bites unprovoked i have looked at many picture my grey is ment to be just 5 months old today yet his eyes have double rings! have i been ripped off into getting an older african grey,would that explain the odd behavior he has? i am a mum of a 2 year old male ecky and have never had any issues with him,im pretty well knowledge on bird handling but he seems set in his way please help!
