Hassan Posted January 2, 2012 Share Posted January 2, 2012 Hi i just got my African Grey a little bit over a month ago and he had a comprehensive exam and a Fecal Ova and Parasite exam. His Fecal Exam came back negative for intestinal parasites, What does that mean? is that a good thing or a bad thing? I understand what you mean. I am guessing you were reading about "gram negative bacterial infections" and things of the sort, but this information is different than internal parasites. With a test for parasites, he will simply test positive or negative. "Gram Negative Bacteria" is a classification of Bacilli that would cause sickness, such as E. Coli.
