lovethatgrey
Her latest is Straw-Paya. She'd rather say that than Strawberry and Papaya separately. I elaborate more on my latest Blog post... http://mabelserendipity.blogspot.com/2011/12/way-emma-african-grey-likes-to-make-up.html I'm sure your talking greys make up words too? What words have your created?
DawL
No words yet, as Grimm is not home yet. Barnaby talks to me, but seems to say the words correctly every time. I have seen a lot of greys make up cute words out of the words they already know, so I am wondering if this is something that is more common to greys? Anyhow, Straw-Paya is adorable
Eshana
What an intelligent and creative grey you have! do you give her strawberry and papaya at the same time? Is that why she says it like that?
danmcq
Emma is such a sweetheart. I love the word play. Thanks for sharing the blog and videos. As always I enjoy reading and watching them.
lovethatgrey
Thanks everyone!! @ Eshana, she likes to make up nonsensical words. Nothing to do with what I offer her. Seems to enjoy mixing things up! Today she was overheard singing.. Cherry Cherry little star, how I wonder where you are? LOL!!

kins2321@yahoo.com
lovethatgrey.... How cute! Sophie loves to make up new words, or when I say something crazy and her eyes dialate and constrict, I know she likes that word and wants to learn it! Her favorite... Kotchiekotchiekoo! She says it about a million times a day. she is 12. She LOVES all Dr. Seuss books. One of her favorite rymes is eineymeanymineymo. I leave several blanks for her to fill in. Hit and miss, but she loves it anyway. Once I say " catch a tiger by the toe", I say foot... she picks up her foot and I shake it. Nancy
Acappella
This is a made up sentence that I think I've mentioned before, but "Gonna go get a drink of laundry" is still a favourite around here.
