Eshana
Hello all! As some of you know from my other thread, I am finally moving out in a few weeks, and I can't wait to set up my very own kitchen! Tell me all about your favorite bird friendly or just plain awesome kitchen supplies! Right now I'm collecting ice cube trays. I plan on entertaining a lot, since I do tabletop roleplaying as a hobby, so I've bought some fun ice cube trays:
CLB
My new favorite kitchen toy is my Italian, ceramic, non-stick, bird friendly frying pan! Way better than my old teflon and bird safe too! Nothing sticks to this thing. I am very impressed.

brianlinkles
Ok, obviously I'm totally out of the loop, what is tabletop role playing? Where did you get the amazing chess piece ice cube tray?
Eshana
Tabletop roleplaying certainly isn't "in the loop" so don't worry about that! It's a very nerdy activity that's basically like...improv with math. The chess piece ice cube tray is from my favorite website to send all my money to, thinkgeek.com
DawL
I used to play "Vampire: The Masquerade" when I was younger, but I played live action. What games are you into? I have one really neat thing in my kitchen. It doesnt really have anything to do with birds, but I love it. Here is the link to it: http://www.perpetualkid.com/the-ex-voodoo-knife-set---red.aspx I get a lot of neat things from a website that I really love! They have a page for ice cube trays I will put in the link here: http://www.perpetualkid.com/ice-cube-trays.aspx I will share one of my favorite things in my bathroom too. I have inserted a link to it http://www.perpetualkid.com/blood-bath-shower-curtain.aspx Hope you like this site if you have never seen it before! BTW: LOOOOVE the skull and cross bones ice cube trays! I would buy some, but I have an ice maker in my fridge, and I LOVE crushed ice!
Eshana
I LOVE the white wolf system! My favorite white wolf game is changeling. Mostly I play indie stuff, like burning wheel, but I also play D&D 3.5 and a few other systems. The group I'm in does both four week campaigns and one shots so I get to try lots of different things. I am loving this perpetualkid website! It seems like they have a lot of the same stuff that ThinkGeek has.

Greywings
My "kids" (in their 20's) not only role play but run tabletops at conventions and loan costumes as well as story lines. My older son made a cast of Han Solo in carbonite years ago to make bacon chocolate bars for a shindig. Here is a link to my daughter's site just a little geeky (yes) http://www.texasartcat.com/ Edited December 29, 2011 by Greywings

Greywings
Eshana we live in Texas so mostly in state but they do save up to go to Atlanta for Dragon con. My daughter is the one on the scaffolding painting her ceiling she is the eldest and makes costumes and puppets as well as being Co captain of the local Firefly fan group. In the over question -to clean or to cook? Clean with vinegar & a steam cleaner. To cook -ceramic or glass baking dishes and aluminum cookie sheets, to broil cast iron. When making birdy bread or birdy cookies I line the cookie sheets with parchment paper for easy clean up and keeps the food from contacting the metal just in case. Acappella
I gotta ask. Is your daughter specifically into Firefly, or is she a Whedonite?
