Gandalf the Grey Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Hi, i need some help. My parrot chipped his lower beak, he was chewing a metal button on my jeans. will it grow back? here are some pics.
danmcq Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Yes, the beak is constantly growing. Gandolf will be fine. You though, go take a shot of the good stuff and chill. Seriously though, it is always great to see people who are so attentive to every iota of their parrots health and safety.
DawL Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I agree, he will be just fine Most of the time it is us who suffer when our fids do these crazy things.
Jimmydreams Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Note to self: beaks contantly grow. Minor breaks/chips are no problem. Whew....learning SO much on here.....Thanks everyone!!
Mistyparrot Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I went through a period when most of my shirts had no buttons. Fortunately Misty moved on to other things. As others have said Gandalf will be fine. How was the vet trip the other day? All OK I hope.
Gandalf the Grey Posted December 29, 2011 Author Posted December 29, 2011 The vet said he is ok, but he is not an avian vet. but he is fine now thx friends!
