Talon
A little more history would be helpful. Is this a new behavior? Has something changed in your household, new toys? cage moved? Lots of things it could be, but we can't give advice without knowing mre...

Dave007
You need to tell us how long this has been going on. Birds go through phases where they'll repeat noises and other sounds over and over and over sometimes lasting for days and daysuntil he/she finally tires of doing that. Tias
My CAG went through something like that when I put my tree up this year and moved some things around....I thought she had fell or gotten hurt somehow....
pikachu
My girl can be loud, but it is usually whistles, noises or chatting. Sometimes she lets something rip that is ear piercing. I ask her what that is all about. I chalk it up to it being like a baby who has found her voice.
kins2321@yahoo.com
hmmm, definitely a tough one! Since Christmas is over, maybe you could remove the tree a little sooner.( just to cross that out as the cause!) Then if she still does it, does she look scared? If not.... I suspect you have a very smart baby who knows how to get your attention! Kiki our Amazon did this as a baby.( wayyyy much louder than a grey!) LOL Once I ruled out all causes, I made sure I didn't respond when she screamed, waited ten minutes then went to get her so she wouldn't associate her screaming with me coming to get her. It worked. Kiki now screams between 3-4pm. She is allowed to scream her heart out, noone will hush her. She appreciates the hour of full release, as this is what Amazons love to do. DawL
It may very well be the tree, but every bird is different, and vocalize in different ways. Hopefully this will just be a phase for your fid
