Rayson
I have this baby african grey (Congo) which is nearly fully-feathered except her eye area which is alittle bit pink and white. Is she ready to start bathing or is it too soon? She is still under hand feeding and often get messy so i wanted to bath her but afraid that she might catch a cold. I clean her with a wet towel though... pls help!! Edited December 1, 2011 by Rayson Errors
Talon
I wouldn't worry about bathing her. She sounds very young They really don't get dirty and need to be bathed like our children do. My greys HATE the water, and rather than terrorize them, I let them bathe when THY want to in a water dish. Others here have had good luck in geting them used to the water, but I never have. Pictures would be great!
Luvparrots
In your place because your grey is young and not fully feathered I would just continue to clean off the excess formula with a damp cloth. It is important that your baby not get chilled. Just how old is your grey?
