2cute
Hi everyone ! Well my Baby grey I've been calling Jack ( hope he is a boy LOL) seems to be doing great ! He's full of life and is growing so fast . I'm still not sure of his age but I feel he must be between 8 to 10 weeks . I hope you can see his new photos and see if you can tell if he is a CAG or a TAG . At first i thought maybe TAG but now I'm not so sure LOL he has some dark brown/maroon on the tip of his wings . His weight now is 458g , 5g less than yesterday . I Hope that's normal and it has to do with him getting ready to fly . Just in case I will schedule a check up with his Avian vet . He is eating well and less formula . He is on a on demand formula schedule but eats more solids . He cries for formula but when i give it to him, he walks away :? silly guy Well I hope to hear from everyone soon , all opinions are welcomed Edited November 28, 2011 by 2cute photos were small

chelseaB
He is a real cutie!! He loks like a CAG to me, very black beak. But that is just my uneducated guess. I'm sure more experienced members will let you know. Congrats on doing such a great job with him!

CAGs are between 425 to 575 gms as adults 2----TAGs have a much more darker feather color through the whole body ( like light charcoal). Your bird has the standard CAG lighter grey color. The tail of a TAG has very little bright red feathers in the tail. Basically, dark marroon. CAGs have very bright red tail feathers. 3---Beak-----CAGs have solid black color in upper and lower beak. TAGs have a straw colored upper beak. Weight #s can vary a little bit but the color can't. CAG on the left is 565 gms TAG at right is 325 gms http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v50/DaveVP/1jpg---cropped-1.jpg Edited November 28, 2011 by Dave007
