judygram Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 How sweet, they both look like they really love one another, unusual for a small kid to be so loved on like that.
Shelly Yokum Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 That is Prince, and Austin, they are both just one of a kind.
Elvenking Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 (edited) Ohh my goodness...you should have seen my face. I LOOOVEE blue and golds and that picture is sweet! Is he hugging your son with his wing? Ohhh my...just heart warming. I got a chance to hold a baby a few weeks back and it was so wonderful...I must have been smiling just ear to ear. The little baby was flapping his wings all excited and just supper sweet. Amazing birds. Edited November 18, 2011 by Elvenking
Eshana Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 That's so sweet! I wish I had a mom like you growing up. It is so important to instill a love of all creatures in your children.
Shelly Yokum Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 Eshana, that is the nicest and sweetest thing anyone has ever said. I do have a great love for all animals, but something about an innocent animal, and an innocent child just makes me melt. I wish my other birds were as sweet as Prince.
katana600 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 That is adorable, it looks like Prince is preening Austin's hair while he wraps his wing around him. That is just about the most precious thing. I can't even get that close to Gilbert while he is that relaxed. You are genuinely blessed and you are doing something right to create this atmosphere for your babies, human and avian.
Shelly Yokum Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 Thank you so all so much. I feel blessed in some ways. I do love my family very much, at least the part I have left.
