conflicting opinions regarding Ficus tree

I have been looking on various websites regarding bird safe house plants.

I was wondering if a ficus benjamina, ie, ficus bush, is safe to put in the bird room.

Ficus Benjamina/Bush----Ficus Pumila----Ficus Carica----- Ficus Lyrata are all safe.

Awwww my lovely ficus I have had for over 20 years, my parrots love it and have chomped it all to bits. My parrots are great, my ficus not so much!!!
