petrik1
My sweetie is plucking, no feathers only down. Somebody tells that is bad habit, somebody that is health problem. I hope that is the second possibility. Maybe is has calciumless. Can Calcivet help to our parrot? Because parrots are plucking when they haven't got Calcium and D3 (I read about it) Thx for any advice
Luvparrots
Sunlight is good for our parrots. I believe there are some sticky posts in this Health Room about sunlight and indoor lamps to help our birdies maintain Vitamin D especially in the cold. I understand hemp seed is also good for plucking. Check it out on the internet. Edited November 6, 2011 by luvparrots
