birdhouse Posted October 12, 2011 Share Posted October 12, 2011 (edited) I haven't ever seen jicama in a store around me. I get the impression it's only available in some parts of the US. So that may be why you haven't seen much about it. But I haven't seen it listed as toxic & I have seen it used as an ingredient in people's parrot mashes, occasionally. I believe it's ok to feed.
