parrot14
Hooper, my yellow sided conure has been living with us for one year. She is clipped when arrived and her wings had not completely grown. Though had her wings clipped she could fly for about 2 meters LOL... I'm willing to let her fly freely outdoor. She had a steady personality, calm and confidence if we are (me n my son) arrround watching her. Sorry for the blurred part, my son take the video shoot with my handheld. LAURIT
Very cool! My TAG Zoe can't fly yet. She is four months old. How long did it take to teach the recall??
parrot14
Hooper needed approximately one week to get the idea of recall. I teach her indoor, only 15 minutes each day. but once she knew it, we still need to train her regularly to maintain such behavior.the most important thing is bonding. Play, cuddling, training and let her knows that we love her. I have free flighted my sun conure, hope I could do the same thing with Hooper.
