NatJ
hello everyone.... i just wantded some advice please...... The breeder i got coco from was mixing Pretty Bird African grey Pellets with a seed & dry fruit parrot mix, so thats what ive been doing for the whole 2 months nearly that ive had him for. But..... ive noticed that he isnt really intersted in the seeded mix & just picks out his pretty bird pellets. Is it ok to loose the seed & fruit mix & just fill his bowl with pellets only?
KimKim
I would say yes. Just make sure you do more research to find out what else you can feed to give Coco the best diet you can provide. The bird food section has a ton of info.
bmatrow
I got my birds off an all seed diet and feed them pellets and fresh veggies and greens. They adore seeds and nuts but I use them mainly as treats as I think there are more nutritious food items to give them they also eat. If your birds don't seem as interested in the seed just as well. I now give my birds seed mix once a week as a treat although I give them each a peanut a day as a morning treat before I go to work.
