Luvparrots
Your grey is a little confused now. He doesn't know what he did to have his ability to fly taken away. I suggest you try to be natural and talk to him to regain his trust. It will take time just as it would take a human time to get use to two broken legs for example. Love him and comfort him and hopefully he will relax again and be able to trust you again.

Greywings
May I ask whose advice that was and what was the logic leading to the clip? Not criticing you at all just trying to understand the thought behind the advice. If you have young kids that may startle him then please put something soft on the floor (a Quilt) to prevent injury if he falls or tries to fly and falls to the floor. judygram
When you had him clipped and took away his ability to fly he was upset and mad at you for taking away his flight privileges but he should get over it soon and probably has by now. I take it you have young sons who are in and out the door a lot and you are afraid he will escape but there are other options to try to keep him from escaping out an open door other than clipping his wings and we have some threads here that offer such suggestions.
