Acappella Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 I haven't been posting much lately because I've been busy taking care of my dad, but I got out the camera the other day and made a couple of videos. The bedtime one is the longest one, but (IMHO) he's just so darn cute I couldn't edit it. Hope you enjoy.
Cupid Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Wow what a happy bird! congratulations on such a lovely Dorian.
Luvparrots Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Great videos!! You and Dorian are missed. Dorian is certainly a cutie!
Codys Mom Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 awsome videos what a nice looking birdie
birdhouse Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 I'm so glad you didn't edit that vid! He almost sounds like a cartoon. So funny! So cute & so happy ... right up until you said playtime was over. Should direct any member looking for lessons on body language to watch this. lol
danmcq Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Loved these videos of Dorian! Thanks for sharing them.
Cupid Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Also you play the piano so well, and what a pretty voice you have (from the "goofball video")
Acappella Posted September 18, 2011 Author Posted September 18, 2011 ... right up until you said playtime was over. Should direct any member looking for lessons on body language to watch this. lol Yep, he knows what those words mean, that's for sure. As much as I wish he'd been allowed to fledge when he was a baby I have to admit there are advantages to having a bird who doesn't know he can fly. If he could, the nightly game would be 'chase the birdy around the house', not around the playstand.
katana600 Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 While I was enjoying all of Dorian's sound effects, Gilbert was intently watching me watching the video. I love the non stop chatter and antics. Dorian is such a lovely companion.
Markus Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 The more and more i read and see, the more amazing these birds are to me. Almost sounds like he is mimicking a nintendo game at times lol
Acappella Posted September 26, 2011 Author Posted September 26, 2011 Well it wouldn't be a video game in this house (although he does do a sound from the Wii commercial). You might have been hearing the after effects of one too many viewings of Star Wars. He's a big R2D2 fan!!!
