Cupid Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Well ladies and gentlemen, it seems that all the while I thought Aristotle was a she, he wasnt. I took him for his check up, and everything was greyt. the vet did a DNA test and let me know he is truly a HE.
Luvparrots Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Whew!!!! With an aristocratic name like Aristotle that's a wonderful gender to be!! LOL! Congratulations on your little gentleman!
Barbara2 Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Congrats Cupid! (I don't know why I was thinking he was a boy all along.)
Cupid Posted September 9, 2011 Author Posted September 9, 2011 Thanks friends, i guess that its not true that male birds only like females humans. My bird loves me, just as much as I love him.
Cupid Posted September 9, 2011 Author Posted September 9, 2011 Congrats Cupid! (I don't know why I was thinking he was a boy all along.) It was me Barbara, I thought that he was a she since it liked me so much, but I was wrong.
Barbara2 Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Thanks friends, i guess that its not true that male birds only like females humans. My bird loves me, just as much as I love him. My breeder said that it hasn't been her experience. She said she has sold male birds to men and they are bonded and females to women. I know that we have women on here with female greys and they are very attached.
Luvparrots Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 My TAG is a female and loves me to pieces. I had a male eclectus that I re-homed recently to a young man and they totally bonded very quickly. The young man purchased a custom-made leather harness and they ride the public bus and go to outdoor marts all the time. Best thing I ever did and I feel marvelous about the great fit between the two.
judygram Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Congrats on Aristotle being a male, the name says it all.
ranaz Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Cool, at least you know the name is a suitable one now. Congratulations on sexing your baby
