Doug
I will pick up my grey in two weeks. I need to buy a carrier for the trip (1.5 hour drive). Any recommendations?
Luvparrots
It depends on what you want and how you will use it. I have two types one that is enclosed which I use to take a parrot to the avian vet in: http://www.petsolutions.com/storefront/bird/pet-bird/cages-carriers/bird-traveler-case/prodPetVoyageBirdTravelerCase.html and one for longer trips like when they need a cage large enough to spend a couple of days in: http://www.petsolutions.com/storefront/product-view.ep?pID=folddownwhitetravelcage&utm_source=nextag&utm_medium=comparison&utm_term=48000020&utm_campaign=folddownwhitetravelcage Edited September 4, 2011 by luvparrots
Doug
Eventually, I will need to get a carrier that will fit under an airplane seat. But at this point, I am primarily concerned with bringing my TAG home from the breeder and going to the vet. Your first suggestion looks pretty good. JeffNOK
Pak O Bird from Celltei sells a specially designed carrier for in cabin airline travel. Not cheap, but most people seem very pleased with their products. http://www.celltei.com/pakobird.html
