yea 40 milllion pet parrots currently IN household not including those that have escaped or been released.

It is sad that the need for all these rescue organizations is because so many people jump in and buy on impulse a pretty bird only to find out it needs much more than they are willing to give, so sad for the birds for they are the ones who suffer from our ignorance.
