Popsicle Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 (edited) Ok I saw this on TV the other day and decided to post because I found it quite funny. It's a bit old now (from 2009) so some people might have seen already. If you haven't seen yet, hope you enjoy it. It certainly made me laugh. Edited July 12, 2011 by Popsicle
Barbara2 Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 "Look how happy he is." He really did look like he was smiling in the scene. LOL!
Birdnut Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Yes, that is quite funny. I had seen it before, but always good for a laugh. I think in another place in a video somewhere, Stephen says this may be a clue as to why these birds are going extinct.
danmcq Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 LOL, I saw that a year or two ago. Thanks for refreshing the memory of that hilarious video.
kingsnake Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Never seen it. He was a good sport... I've seen those birds before on TV, I think (If I remember correctly) they are from New Zeland?
Luvparrots Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Ahhhh yes, Sirocco, the kakapo, an endangered flightless parrot from New Zealand. I remember him!!!!
judygram Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 I have saw this before also but it is still funny to watch how that bird climbed up and shagged the man on the back of his head but he left scratches, doubt he will ever allow that to happen again but thanks for sharing it with us.
Morana Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 I was talking just yesterday to my BF about that video!!! Lol
Mawnee Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Yes, that is quite funny. I had seen it before, but always good for a laugh. I think in another place in a video somewhere, Stephen says this may be a clue as to why these birds are going extinct. LOL thats exactly what I was thinking. In the birds defense, the guy was wearing a green shirt. And maybe that bird has a thing for the big girls.
tODDski Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 That was hilarious, he definitely was smiling but what really would have been funny was to see a release on the back of his neck.
ranaz Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 thats very funny...ive seen it before... but still I laughed till I cracked, especially about the conservation part...lol
chezron Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 I love Kakapos! They are nocturnal, flightless parrots that weigh about 8 pounds! They are from New Zealand. They make a "booming" noise when they are looking for a mate. That was hilarious! Thanks for sharing!
