Shiny feathers

Last week I moved Shady's cage to our outside patio. Since it is summertime I figured the sunlight and humidity would be good for him. Today I noticed that his feathers are a lot shinier and they appear to have a bluish hue to them is this normal? He also seems to be preening himself more vigorously.

Looks fine to me. More than likely, it's the waterproof wing feathers that are gleaming. They do that outdoors especially after getting a bath. Most of the outer feathers are darker in general.
