Why does grey forums not remember me?

Every time I log on I have to fill in my username & password, even though I have the remember me box ticked.

We all do Paul, the remember me box is to keep you logged in when you are on and go for a bit with no activity otherwise it will automatically log you out.

If you have to re type in your user name and password, then that will be the settings on your computer.

 

Judy is right that it will throw you off after a period of inactivity if you don't click the 'remember me' box.

Ah ok, some forums I use log me in automaticly whenever I got go them, thought this did the same but no worries. Thanks.

You can stay logged in by clicking the remember me box.

I have the remember box marked and if I don't log off and sometimes I forget, I'm still logged in even if my computer is shut down. Don't ask me why. It is convenient for me as I am the only one who uses my computer usually.

Me too Janet. I am always logged in on my ipad, blackberry, laptop, or desktop computer... too many gadgets!!!!!!!

Mine keeps me logged in. I have 8 start pages and this is one of them. I made it a start page after I was at the forum page and I never have to log in unless I clear all temp internet files.
