blovekhi
Hello friends, i am new here, i like to know about grey parrot breeding, can some one suggest me some good vitamins available in Canada or USA. Also please suggest some good diet(fruit/vegetables) so my GP can breed successfully. I am new to GP, but i know breeding is patience job, i don't want to make my GP breeding machine, but just want three to four clutch per year. I am waiting for seniors replies about that. DinoUndies
Uhm... I'm a beginner, too, in fact, I didn't even get my Timneh yet. And maybe that makes me less of a Grey Genius than the others, but... I really wouldn't recommend breeding with your Grey if you're a beginner x_x Maybe wait a few years?
Dave007
Hi This board is basically for people who have greys and other parrots which are PETS. There's a large variety of info in all areas here about greys but none of that info has to do with breeding. We don't give information concerning breeding of african greys especially when a person is very new concerning breeding large complex birds such as african greys and we don't give out that info on computers. There are breeders here who share information with other people about their pet greys but there's no lessons that's given out to the people here who are thinking about breeding which is very difficult, expensive and concerns dealing with special types of greys. ****Also please suggest some good diet(fruit/vegetables) so my GP can breed successfully.*** These foods you wanna know about are simply natural diets for greys. It has nothing to do with breeding. Edited June 21, 2011 by Dave007
Greywings
3 To 4 clutches a year would physically exhaust the birds that would be an abusive situation.
judygram
I think you would do fine to leave well enough alone and forget about breeding greys, you don't seem to know anything about it and there are enough of them in rescue or in need of new homes so leave it to those who know.
