JDS5607
Black just seems so blah... Anyone use a print lined with a darker (but not black) fabric on their cage cover? I was thinking of doing a fun print on the outside, with a dark lining on the inside.
KimKim
I have made a number of cages covers for Babalu's cage. I think I have one for almost every holiday. Here is a link to a thread that shows a few. It took him a few minutes to warm up to the double sided one, usually I don't put a print on the inside but my closet is getting full of covers http://www.greyforums.net/forums/showthread.php?191527-I-made-some-holiday-cage-covers
JDS5607
Those are great! I was going to do one for a dome-top, the top will be fitted, and have the sides flowing ( like this one) http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=8568&cmpid=04csegb&ref=3312&subref=AA&CAWELAID=525357572 But now, I'm not sure if I should do the flowing sides or the straight sides like you did. : \
Talon
2 0f my cages have a black sheet, and one has a navy blue one. My cages are very large and tall so I have to jump up high to cover them. They barely go half way down the cages, so they can perch low and peek out if they want.
KimKim
With the covers I made, the top and the back of the cage is not covered. Just a few inches of fabric hang over the top. I use chip clip things the hold the cover on.
judygram
I just use black sheets and they cover pretty much the whole cage, Josey's is a king size.
Ray P
We have many sheets in many colors that we change out for cleaning. Color differance does`t seam to bother them at least my bunch.
JDS5607
We have a sheet that we use too- but Sully's cage is 54"L, and our sheets barely cover half way down... We also only have one- and it's white, lol so not much help! I ordered some black fabric, but I also got some nice decorator fabric to do the top, and I'm doing the bottom in black. Hopefully it comes out good
Birdnut
Moussa's cover is a green tablecloth. I like to use green.
InfamousAlice
I use a dark purple sheet down, queen sized. Mostly since it's summer with the AC running I cover Bob with a flannel sheet...
