JDS5607
AH! I had so much fun making this! Don't mind the bar code- for some reason I always forget to sand them off before pictures!!!
Talon
Very cool. Can't wait to see how your birds like it.
judygram
What a great looking toy, just how big is that thing, is it big enough for a grey to crawl thru?
JDS5607
It's not big enough for a grey to crawl through- more like a lovebird to crawl through I wonder if they make these things big enough for a grey to crawl through though... hmmm.. Sully loves it...
JDS5607
The ends are plugged with wood caps with holes drilled through.. much like the one at the top. I'm wondering how long it will last with Sully. So glad I have such a good test bird
Greywings
They make them large enough for a dog to crawl through. Nice job on that toy, your bird child should appreciate your gift.
katana600
I love the ingenuity behind your toys. This looks like a happy toy to dig around and find little tidbits. Great thinking.
JDS5607
Thank you I actually stuffed some whole wheat pasta in some of the holes after he pulled all the crinkles out... he went crazy! haha
InfamousAlice
That's an awesome idea! I've been doing a lot of experimenting with PVC.
JDS5607
PVC is quickly becoming my new favorite plastic for bird toys! It's tough enough for greys and most macaws

aslterp59
Great toy! Where do you find the bells that are bird-safe?
JDS5607
@ Aslterp59- I sell them on my website. They're Nickel Plated and have no lead or unsafe metals @fote03- I keep trying, but he seems to know what the camera is, and is much more interested in stopping- and dancing.. aslterp59
Jenn I'm making an order that includes a couple of bells. They are showing up as $0.00. Not trying g to steal them! Smile
