bran
Hi there, we were considering getting the stackable large cages for our TAG and CAG. They are primarily in their cages in the bird room/office, when no one is home (VERY Rarely) and on their playstands in the living room with us when ever someone is home. I definitely DO NOT want to sacrifice space for them, and want them to be comfortable. Does anyone have their birds in Stackable cages? How well does this work? judygram
As long as each of the cages is big enough for each grey to be able to flap their wings and not touch the sides then I don't see why it wouldn't work especially if space is a problem. They should have a tray in between so the one on top cannot dump on the one in the bottom cage.
Talon
Birds like to be as high as possible. I can't imagine one would want the bottom bunk so to speak...

Dave007
A typical single cage size for a CAG is approx 38/40 inches high without the stand , approx 28 inches deep, approx 33/35 inches across. They need cages in which they can go left to right as opposed to height. That applies to CAGs and TAGs The next size smaller is made for a TAG so if you can find stackable cages in which each cage for a CAG and a TAG has those approx dimensions then buy it. Many people don't use stackable cages for greys because they're high but narrow. Edited June 1, 2011 by Dave007
