Rowan
Hello All My name is Beth and I am new to the site and new to TaG ownership. Previously, I have had Quakers - always wanting a Grey - and I will be picking up my new baby this Saturday! He is 10 weeks old - I have a plastic vented top carrier to pick him up in - but I would like some opinions on the cage I currently have: http://www.petsmart....ductId=11147354 Will this be enough room for him until I am able to get something bigger? Or will the stress of changing cages be too much for him? Any advise is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
judygram
Welcome Beth, your link is not showing the cage, maybe you could fix the link or provide a picture of it so we will know what you are talking about.

judygram
That cage is a little small, height is fine but you should look for a wider and deeper cage, more like 24"L x 36"w at least so he can flap his wings and not touch the sides but the design of the cage is great and most love the playtops. Rowan
Thank you for your reply. Do you feel this will work for the meantime (while he is still a baby)? My boyfriend works at home, so he will be on the top of the cage quite often. We were looking at upgrading to something bigger in a few months, once he gets bigger or is that too stressful for them? Thanks again!
judygram
Yes it will work for the time being but make it as soon as possible and put the perches down lower for him and put some blankets or towels down to cushion any falls until he gets good at perching.
