Check the ingredients to see if there is chemicals in it. I use 2.5 acidic water I make in my kitchen. IT disinfects, sterilizes, and has no toxic/chemicals/fragrance in it. Completely harmful!! I use the same to clean all my bathrooms!

Use Vinegar, it's completely safe, non-toxic, can be used while bird is in cage or house. It totally disinfects!!!! Soak there veggies in it, clean there bowls, add to drinking water. For deep cleaning, fill a spray bottle with vinegar, and one with peroxide, Spray area with one than the other, and wipe.....

Please don't use "Method". some of the ingredients: e.g., alkyl polyglucoside, starch One of the preservatives we use frequently is a blend of methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone.

Thank you for your answers. I use vinegar for most of my cleaning and will use it for the cage. I was just curious about Method and will not use it for her cage.

Talons 2.5 acidic water is wonderful, vinegar works the same, both acidic.....Use "Organic Apple cider vinegar" for their veggie cleaning and drinking water, 2 drops per bowl... Thanks

I recently got a Haan portable handheld steamer for about $50. I haven't used it on the cage yet but it does a pretty good job at breaking down the poop elsewhere. It cleans and sterilizes, and uses nothing but water.
