Masooma Posted April 19, 2011 Share Posted April 19, 2011 Hey! I just wanted to ask a question. My Grey is having breathing issues, i can hear a wheezing sound. We called the vet, told him the symptoms. According to him he has an infection, he suggested to give him Amoxicillin 325 mg. I was wondering if its ok to give it to a parrot? judygram Posted April 19, 2011 Share Posted April 19, 2011 Did you take your grey in to see the vet or did the vet just prescribe the amoxicillin over the phone? I am surprised he prescribed something without actually examining your grey but if that is what he told you to give it then he knows best as we are not vets here, why don't you give your vet a call for clarification.
