judygram
Hello Mandy and welcome to our family, so glad you have yourself a grey and is this your first grey and your first parrot? Please do allow some time for Jayla to settle into her new home as greys tend to take things slowly and she has to get to know you first before the bonding process can take place. She needs to be allowed to come out of her cage on her own so do not put your hand inside the cage to get her as some greys view their cage as their safety zone and will get territorial over it. You will have to earn her trust by not forcing her to day anything she doesn't want to and she will let you know when she is ready for more interaction with you. Do read thru the many threads here for lots of useful information and ask any and all questions you may have and we will help you in any way we can. I have to echo the sentiments of the former posters as to pictures, we love to see pictures of each other's birds.
