Gizmos
I'm getting a new cage, is the Montana brand good? I'm thinking of getting this one http://www.cagesworld.co.uk/p/Montana_Castell_Play_Parrot_Cage.htm I can get if for nearly £100 less from another website but this one has best picture. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks Edited March 13, 2011 by Gizmos
Barbara2
I think that one is an excellent cage and others here have something very similar. The one complaint that I have heard about this one is that it is so tall, some people have had trouble getting their bird down if he/she is on the top and doesn't want to get back in the cage. I have heard that a wider cage is better than a taller/deeper cage. I have a huge tall cage that is probably going to be replaced at some point in the future but a huge part of that is because I got a corner cage and didn't realize that I have to spin it around in order to get the tray and grate out for cleaning. It's not a big deal but it's a bit of a pain.
judygram
Thats a pretty good size cage at 3 x 3 feet, plenty of space to flap wings and exercise and if you can get it cheaper elsewhere then thats great, playtops are great cages.

Gizmos
I got Gizmos cage a few days ago. Its huge, which is a good thing, lots of space for Gizmo to spread his wings. I put it up and just let Gizmo see it. He didn't fly to it until yesterday and with a bit of coaxing explored it a wee bit inside. He's been happily flying from one cage to the other and for the first time I've closed the door and kept him in his new cage. I'm not sure if I should leave him in there for a bit. He seems fine, having a good explore around. I've uploaded a few photos and will upload more as I add to the cage. Thanks for all your advice
Acappella
Love the cage, and the picture of Gizmo on top of it looking upside down at you.
