fidsandfrats
I got home last night and Slater hardly ate anything. I think he waits until I get home and I prepare his evening meal to eat. It also seems like he eats better some days than others. There are some days I swear it looks like he doesn't touch his food dish. I work full time and while I'm away I will leave him two types of pellets (Roudybush and Zupreem) along with dried pasta, dried fruits and veggies, nuts, etc. When I get home I give him fresh or frozen veggies with a mash and some pasta or rice. He really seems to enjoys his evening meal. I don't understand why he's not eating better in his cage while I'm at work. I would think that if he hadn't eaten all day he would eat a lot more in the evening when I get home since he seems to really look forward to his evening meal. For example, if I put a tablespoon full of mash some sweet potato, broccoli, hot pepper he may take a bite or two out of everything and that's all he'll eat. Anyone else have a similar situation that can shed some light on this matter? Thanks Edited March 9, 2011 by fidsandfrats
