RBlass
Our african grey is about 5.5 months old. It came home at about 4.5. For roughly a week, she's been having difficulty breathing (Only when she exerts herself), and she sneezes often. She also makes these sounds -- like a pig? Or a penguin -- every 5 minutes or so. Something to be worried about? Edited February 28, 2011 by RBlass
judygram
That doesn't sound good to me, have you given your avian vet a call? I would ask him/her about it for none of us are vets here. Please do so and let us know what you find out but I hope she is going to be just fine.
Luvparrots
Oh yes please call an avian vet for clarification. My grey never does what you describe so please do check it out.
Morana
I agree. The avian vet should be No1 on your list. Do you already have an avian vet?
danmcq
As others stated, your description sounds like a 911 to me.
