I think he just likes making the noise and that's why he's doing it but is there another reason? His beak is just resting on the object and not choming down on it. Let me know if you can't view it and I'll have to figure out another way to attach it. Dave007 Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 There's nothing wrong that he's doing that should worry you. Some like doing that to test the texture and hardness of things. Sometimes, it can lead to biting the item if he knows what he's about to bite on. Some other birds like doing the same thing to food/water bowls. Others like to do it to the bars on the cage.
