Unfortunately some of us that don't live in the US. won't be able to watch the programme with Dr Pepperberg on PBS that Talon posted, but I did find this video of her having an interview & it's over an hour long so go get a cup of tea, sit back & enjoy.

Thanks for the link! We don't have TV so I'll miss the program on Wednesday, but since my hubby is working late tonight I can still watch Pepperberg tonight online instead.

Wow!! Thanks so much for the video. I really enjoyed seeing Irene Pepperburg talk about her studies and Alex. I was happy to hear her acknowlege that there are pet birds out there too that have amazing comprehension and speech. We all knew that though.
